Ownership

Not a silver watch. Emilie's silver watch.

EON links every serialized product to the person who holds it, then turns every moment in that product's life into an opportunity to connect, service and sell.

The problem

Know who owns it. Not just who bought it.

A transaction record starts aging the moment it's created. It names a purchaser, a channel and a date — not the person holding the product today. Sell through wholesale and the brand often never learns who bought at all. Sell once and the product may change hands four times over the next decade, entirely out of view. The customer file and the physical object have never actually been connected.

Watch moves from wholesale to purchase and changing ownership, while customer data remains disconnected from the brand.
Connecting two identities

One Digital ID. One customer. One verified link.

EON binds a customer identity to a serialized product identity — not a SKU, not an order line, the individual item. Not the blue sweater in the size range, but the one Emilie owns. That link can be established wherever the brand already meets the customer: written at checkout, assigned by a store associate, created from an order record, or claimed by the customer directly. However it's made, the result is the same — the product knows who holds it, and she holds provable title to it.

  • Ownership established at checkout, in-store, from an order record or by the customer directly
  • The link is made at item level, against the product's serialized Digital ID
  • Services, registration and warranty activated and accessible at the moment ownership is assigned
  • Works across every channel — retail, wholesale, marketplace and resale alike
Watch’s item-level Digital ID links to verified owner Emilie Carter, enabling registration, warranty, services, and access across channels.
Ownership that transfers

The relationship survives the second sale.

When the product changes hands, the record changes with it. EON releases the previous owner, verifies the new one and preserves the ownership history on the product. The brand stays connected to whoever holds the item today — including customers it never sold to, in markets it doesn't operate in.

  • Owner-to-owner transfer built in, whether the product is resold, gifted or inherited
  • Complete ownership history retained at product level, against anonymized customer IDs
  • Lost, stolen and disputed items resolvable against a verifiable ownership record
  • Warranty, repair and service authorized instantly against verified current ownership
Watch ownership transfers from previous owner Emilie Carter to current owner Alex Rivera while preserving dated ownership history.
Engagement, triggered by the product

Your CRM, connected to the product itself.

EON is event-driven. A resale, a transfer, a repair, a warranty expiry, an authentication scan — each is an event, emitted in real time and routed into the systems a brand already runs. EON works alongside the CRM, feeding it a signal it has never had: what the product is doing, and who is holding it right now. Campaigns stop firing on a calendar and start firing on a life.

  • Every lifecycle moment emitted as a real-time event — sale, transfer, resale, service, scan, end of warranty
  • Drive direct engagement by routing events into existing CRM, marketing automation and loyalty platforms. Example: every time a customer resells, send a message with credit to shop new.
  • Exclusive invitations and new release access, targeted to the actual owners of a specific product, not a segment that might own it
  • Outreach personalized to the exact item a customer owns, down to the colorway, season and production year
Watch purchase, warranty, service, and ownership-transfer events enrich a customer profile in the brand’s CRM.
Resale that starts with ownership

When coming back to the brand is the easiest place to resell.

When the owner is already connected to the product, the brand is the easiest place to resell it — in 1-click, no listing to write, no photographs, no stranger to convince, authentication carried by the product itself. That convenience is what pulls the transaction back in-house. And once resale runs through the brand, the brand decides where the product goes next.

  • Owners return to the brand to resell rather than listing on a marketplace the brand can't see
  • Payout issued as credit, converting a resale into the next purchase and extending customer lifetime value
  • Every resale captured as a transaction the brand participates in, with a royalty earned at transfer
  • Secondary supply directed deliberately — into brand-owned resale, authorized partners or take-back — instead of leaking into channels the brand doesn't control
Mobile resale experience for a verified watch, offering secure listing, one-click ownership transfer, payment, and continued product history.
The customers you never sold to

Second-market owners, addressable for the first time.

Every year brands hand a generation of customers to the secondary market: people who chose the brand, paid for the product and remain entirely unknown to it. When ownership is claimed against the product, that anonymity ends. A second-hand buyer becomes a consenting, addressable customer in the brand's own systems — one the brand never acquired and never paid to acquire.

  • Second and third owners identified at the point they claim the product
  • Acquisition with no acquisition cost — the customer arrives already holding the product
  • Full context on what they own: model, materials, production year, service history
  • Onboarding, service and first-party offers extended to owners who never bought direct
Verified watch and mobile resale experience give secondary-market buyers authentic ownership history, full product context, and secure relisting.
Privacy, security and trust

The link exists. The personal data never does.

EON connects a product to an anonymized customer ID — a reference, not a person. Names, addresses and contact details stay in the brand's CRM, where they already live and where consent is already managed. EON holds the connection between the two identities and nothing more, so the ownership graph can be complete without ever becoming a second store of personal data.

Every product has an owner. Now you can reach them.

Products don't stop generating value at checkout — brands just stop seeing it. EON connects product identity to customer identity and holds that connection through every owner the product passes to, in every market it travels through.
