EON’s Head of Sustainability, Julie Brown, took part in The ECESP Leadership Group’s #EUCircularTalks to discuss the EU’s upcoming policy regarding Digital Product Passports (DPPs). Since the European Commission has proposed to establish DPPs in the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products regulation, there’s been a spotlight on DPPs and their implementation. Julie provided insights on how EON is taking the lead in providing solutions for brands to meet this upcoming policy’s requirements and showcased the exciting possibilities with smart, connected products.

Today, companies lose visibility into products the moment they are sold. But with DPPs, value chain partners are logging events data such as this product was sold, it was repaired, it was resold, bringing completely new insights to the brand.
